Camille teaches grade four (4) at River Oak. She started her teaching cycle with this class in the first grade in 2006. Prior to
accepting her position at River Oak, she taught a fifth grade Spanish bilingual class full-time at the Anne Darling Elementary School in the San Jose. She also taught an after-school reading program in Watsonville and taught at a Steiner-inspired pre-school in Santa Cruz. She loves
the outdoors and has spent time as an apprentice garden teacher, taught at an outdoor education center and in 2004 was the garden teacher at Live Oak Elementary School in Santa Cruz. Camille grew-up in a small community in the hills where she was surrounded by plenty of animals and learned to love nature. She has five younger sisters. She enjoys kayaking, backpacking, traveling, drawing, painting and all of the visual arts.
