Lucy Haynes- Registrar/Office Manager
Education: UC San Diego, Bachelor of Science in Biology

Lucy is one of the founders of River Oak Charter School, and has been employed by the School since it opened in 1999. She wears many hats, and her primary responsibilities include registrar, office manager and first aid attendant. It is her friendly voice that greets many telephone visitors every day.

Lucy grew up in Marin County, and after completing college in San Diego, she worked for thirteen years as a registered veterinary technician at UC Davis. In 1994, she and her family moved to Ukiah. Lucy is locally active in the American Association of University Women, and she enjoys reading, sewing, gardening, walking, and spending time with her family and pets.

Lucy’s daughter Susan is a 2006 graduate of River Oak and attends Stanford University. Her husband Ed is a past president of the School’s Charter Council and of the School’s Education Foundation.
